MA Social Work in international and social-spatial contexts

The consecutive MA programme starts from current questions in Social Work: The development of the framework for und the self-understanding of Social Work in relation to social space – especially rural areas.

The degree qualifies fort an active development of Social Work in leading positions, research, evaluation and/or teaching. Graduates gain the principal entitlement to do a PhD as well as for the higher grade of the civil service.

Theory and practise are directly linked in the courses and due to the experiences of students. Focal questions are current debates and challenges in society, policy and Social Work. Diversity and inclusion are seen as cross cutting issues.

Courses are delivered in a didactically balanced combination of presence and e-Learing. Thus the course if study is also eligible for students from other areas or students with families.
